Bringing Baby Home

A Couples’ Workshop for New Parents

SATURDAY APRIL 13TH | Middletown, RI

“Bringing Baby Home” is an evidence-based workshop for expectant and new parents, designed to help strengthen the couple’s relationship and foster their baby’s development.

Research has shown that one of the best predictors of healthy babies, children, and families is the emotional connection and quality of friendship in the marriage. When babies grow up in a home with a positive, playful parenting team, they feel safe and nurtured and able to learn. They cry less, they smile more, and their parents' cooperation helps them to pay better attention during play time to get more out of it.

Let’s face it. The transition to parenthood can be both beautiful and challenging. If you’re feeling this way, you are not alone.

In this workshop, we will navigate the changes during this life-changing transition, explore research-based ideas about healthy couples and babies, and build skills that will strengthen your relationship with your partner and your baby, creating more fulfillment, love, and joy in your family.

Whether you are expecting or caring for a newborn or young toddler, you will return home feeling inspired and more deeply connected as a couple, with concrete skills to keep your relationship strong and satisfying for years to come.

The Workshop Includes:

  • Teachings from Hannah Eaton (LMFT)

  • Role play conversations demonstrating key principles from Hannah & her husband Connor

  • Workshop materials

  • Guided mindfulness exercises

  • Community with other proactive couples

  • Coffee, tea, refreshments & lunch

Research has shown that the relationship with your partner is the cornerstone of your baby’s development. It’s not just about raising a happy, healthy child; it’s about cultivating a loving, harmonious environment for your growing family.

My husband, Connor, joins me in leading workshops and retreats, and assists with role plays and stories. We are excited to celebrate 10 years of marriage this year, and are proud parents to a joyful and rambunctious little toddler. When we’re not leading workshops or retreats, we love to go on adventures, bike, hike, ski, surf, dance, garden, cook tasty meals, play music, read, and soak up the beauty of this one wild and precious life.
