Providing proactive, strength-based counseling for premarital, newlywed, and seasoned couples in the Pacific Northwest.
You are Not Alone
I understand that facing challenges is a normal part of the human experience, and know that all too often people feel alone when experiencing life’s struggles. Through counseling, I come alongside you in your journey, and believe in the power of growth and healing in the context of safe, meaningful relationships.
Approach to Counseling
Through a collaborative process, I work closely with couples, families, and individuals to understand the unique challenges you are facing, your strengths, and your goals for what you would like to see change in your life. I take a strength-based approach to counseling, which means that I am committed to helping you (as a couple, family, or individual) discover or reclaim your strengths and resources, in order to build greater health, resilience, and joy in your life. Relevant research-based concepts and skills are woven throughout counseling to strengthen the process and outcome. I welcome couples, individuals, and families from all backgrounds.
I believe that the “success” of counseling is three-fold:
Your commitment: what you put in is what you get out of the experience
One size doesn't fit all: I tailor treatment to your specific style and needs.
Our relationship: a strong, compatible fit between us is key.
Who do you work with? I work with premarital couples, newlyweds, couples transitioning to parenthood, and couples at various other stages of their relationship. I also work with individuals who may be grappling with personal/ interpersonal concerns and who are interested in gaining personal insight and growth through therapy.
How much will counseling cost? Counseling sessions are $125/ 50 minute session. Longer sessions can be arranged for a prorated amount.
Do you accept insurance? I do not accept insurance at this time.
Do you offer a sliding scale? I have limited sliding scale spots based on need.
How long will it take? It varies greatly depending on your hopes and goals for our work together. However, if we’re a good fit, I ask that you commit to weekly sessions, as I’ve found it’s most effective to building a therapeutic relationship and momentum in our work together.

Free Phone Consultation
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to get a better feel of what counseling may look like, or to see whether we would be a “good fit.” Of course, if I’m not able to provide what you’re looking for, I would be glad to provide you with a referral for another therapist in the community.
